As the snow blankets everything, the pace changes. Just a few steps from the hotel and you're on the Trois Villages, the cross-country ski trail that hosted the World Cup; in Palasinaz, there are sunny slopes for beginners. With a quick transfer, you can reach Monterosa Ski: 180 km of slopes with a single ski pass between Ayas, Gressoney, and Alagna.

The morning breeze ripples the waters of Lake Brusson, while trails wind their way up through larch forests and alpine lakes. With an e-bike, you can travel far without rushing, while on foot you can stop anywhere the view opens up: Issogne and Verrès castles tell stories carved in stone, and the Champoluc ski lifts take you to the heart of Monte Rosa.

Autumn
The larch trees turn golden, the forest copper, and the air scents of wood. This is the season of low light and eye-filling visits. It's the perfect time for castles, exhibitions, markets, wine tastings, and leisurely walks among larch and beech trees.

Flowers and streams, longer days: start again with the lake loop, or explore by e-bike through hamlets and chapels. As the waters grow livelier and the light turns clear, the Val d’Ayas invites you to begin anew with gentle walks, early-season e-bike rides, and visits to chapels and historic hamlets.
